    The palace, which dates back to the 12th century during the Muslim period, retains glimpses of that past in the Arab courtyards, mosaics, and ceramics that adorn its walls.
    After the Christian reconquest, the noble families of the Borja and Cervellón lived here. Furniture from this period is on display on the tour.
    Inside the palace is the Ethnological Museum of the Villa and the Water Museum. The palace is often called the little Alhambra because of its similar interior.
