A'arif Fort and the Incredible Elephant Mountain

The main A'arif fortress can be seen from all over the city of Hail. It was built in the 17th century AD to protect the city against enemies, and now it is the centre of attraction for tourists. The building is made of mud and clay and covers about 440 square metres. There were also residential areas, a mosque, baths, places of prayer, toilets, warehouses, and other facilities here. You should visit the archaeological museum in the fortress to see distinct types of local architecture that survived throughout the ages.
