Le M.U.R
Mulhouse is a creative city, flourishing with street art at every street corner. You are about to explore it walking around the city.
Art is everywhere, pay attention, on a mailbox, a road sign. Open your eyes and let yourself be surprised by impressive frescoes and other contemporary installations.
The first fresco you will see is "le M.U.R" meaning the W.A.L.L. Every month, there is a different artist who is painting the wall. The initiative comes from a local association aiming at promoting street art. Next to the "wall", find the red painting with the message "toutakou you look at me" in the center. The painting is the work of Pierre Frænkel, an artist known in Mulhouse for his messages and paintings in public spaces.
Enjoy the art and take the opportunity to grab some pictures.
