Cheeses, Vyborg pretzel, medieval tavern and streets of Vyborg

The first point of the route is a cheese farm. Here you will get acquainted with village life, learn how the animals are kept. You will be able to taste at least 8 types of cheese and sausage products and learn how to make mozzarella.

Lunch will be held in a cozy restaurant, where you can feel the atmosphere of a real country house and take a break from the bustle of the city. The menu includes Russian, Caucasian and European cuisine.

After the long drive we will rest in a coffee house and try the symbol of medieval Vyborg - the famous Vyborg pretzel.
The Franciscan monks started to bake pretzel, but the recipe was never disclosed to anyone. The pretzel was usually eaten after fasting, shared with the poor and sold to the locals. Gradually the pretzel began to gain popularity, and after the monastery closed, it continued to be made in Vyborg.

Walk through the picturesque park of the XVIII-XIX centuries. There are a lot of greenery, a pond and, of course, rocks. Let's go back to the Middle Ages, have dinner in a tavern and find out how the locals at that time ate. Here you can taste cheese bunnoli with lingonberry sauce, dried venison, soup served in bread, knuckles, sausages and other delicacies.

Before checking into the hotel we will walk through the Old Town and feel the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. We will see the oldest preserved house, built around the XV century, the Clock Tower, the Town Hall, the monument to Thorgils Knutsson, the founder of Vyborg Castle.
