Inspiring Route Full of History From London to Birmingham

This road trip begins with a quick coffee stop and walk by the Thames River, the journey will continue onwards to a lavish baroque style palace. The next stop will be a big secret spot of England, which played a pivotal role in WWII and then the route will take you to a grandiose castle that is older than a thousand years. You'll feel like being escorted by knights and princesses in medieval times. Before reaching Birmingham, you'll make one more stop to the world famous poet William Shakespeare's birth town and have an early dinner with a great view.

You can cross the Henley Bridge during your stroll in Henley on Thames. Henley Bridge was built in the 18th century and it connects Oxfordshire with Berkshire. Although the stone bridge's history is not very ancinet, a wooden bridge used to stand here before. The oldest record of a brdige at this location dates back to the 13th century but some authors claim that Romans had a brdige here in the 5th century. Cross the river by walking atop the 5 stone arches and enjoy the stunning views of the most famous river of England.
