Aiming for the Passo Pordoi Via Valdobbiadene

After driving for just over an hour, you will pass via the Strade Del Prosecco and arrive at the village of Valdobbiadene. The purpose of passing through this route is to enjoy the scenic views this unique landscape offers.
Famed to be one of the most beautiful roads on earth, the Strade del Prosecco is a combination of intentional winding roads with amazing views of hills and well-arranged vineyards - it's almost like a scene from a fairy tale!

Littered with old houses that compliment the landscape, the winding road will give you a run for your money. Some buildings are centuries old and you will notice that the theme here is winemaking - so be ready to see a lot of wine-making and associated buildings. You might notice also that there are castles littered and many churches on hills in this area.

After touring the Valdobbiadene and the quick sightseeing adventure, drive for 40 minutes and arrive at the Crumb.
This is a must-stop spot for any traveller on this road as it offers the best pastries in these parts of Italy and it's going to be your stop for breakfast.

Located in the heart of Belluno province, Alleghe lake and the small village town are simply stuff directly out of a fairytale book; scenic and breathtaking to the core!
You are going to take a brief 5-minute detour here to get a view of the village and take pictures of this small but extraordinary village with a majestic natural setting. At your stop, you will see Alleghe lake and marvel at its turquoise waters. You will get one of the best views of the Civetta mountain ranges too.

The Passo Fedaia is your next stop where you are going to take a cable car ride up the Museum. Not that at this point you are going to pay a fee for both entries to the museum and the cable car ride.
The cable car carries people in small groups of about 20 people and the ride to the museum can take anything between 15 to 20 minutes.

Winter opening hours: 8.40 am – 4.00 pm
The main places to visit during winter are the Bar Funivia at Malga Ciapèla and the Self-Service Restaurant and Bar at Serauta which have amazing views of the Dolomites.
Note that the Sacred Monumental Area is closed during winter.
Summer opening hours: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
The main places to visit and view after the museum during summer are the chapel cave, The panoramic terrace of the Punta Rocca station and The Sacred Monumental Area.
During summer, the Marmolada glaciers, which are among the highest standing in the Dolomites are also quite a sight to behold.

Located between rock and ice, as they say, the Museum of the Great War in Marmolada tells stories about the first world war and much more.
Located at the famous Serauta peak at 2950 metres above sea level, the Museum is located at the heart of where the war took place in Marmolada. The place was reconstructed and reopened and features very informative tours.
Spend just over an hour here and do not leave without checking the amazing gift shop!
