The first of the existing monuments to the great Russian writer, author of stories about the Urals. It stands in the Bazhov square in front of the house of culture of his own name. It was opened in 1954.

Camels live not only in the desert but also in the Urals. At the farm you can ride camels and even try camel milk!

There are several interesting monuments in the mining town with the black swan coat of arms. One of them is "Moskvich" of the first model.
The city also has the Alley of Mining Glory, a gilded sculpture of the Good Angel and a monument to victims of political repression, erected in 2008.

Visit the local history museum, named after Soviet opera singer Alexander Vedernikov. The museum exhibits were collected by the city residents themselves, who wanted to immortalize the history of their mining region.
In the exhibition halls there are Cossack and Soviet everyday items, stuffed animals of the South Ural fauna, mammoth tusks and military exhibits.
