Return to Ekaterinburg on the road that led you to Irbit. On the way turn to the village of Nizhnyaya Sinyachikha, there is an interesting open-air museum. Its founder is Ivan Danilovich Samoilov, whose efforts managed to find rare wooden buildings, which are now painted on the territory of the museum-reserve.
Here you can see a mill, a smithy, a fire station, manors of different centuries, the tower of the ostrog, a chapel, the house of the Plant Management. Special attention should be paid to the Spaso-Preobrazhensky church, on the basis of which there is a museum, where the outstanding collection of Ural folk house paintings is presented.

There are 12 expositions reflecting the life of the plant's settlement from different sides. But you should definitely see the highlight of the museum - the exposition of photo-theatre "Princes Romanovs - prisoners of Alapaev", which takes you back to the tragic year of 1918.

The museum exposition will tell about the life, service and exploits of Grand Duchess Elizabeth, Grand Duke Sergei Mikhailovich and Duchess Elena Petrovna of Serbia, Princes of the Blood Imperial John Konstantinovich, Konstantin Konstantinovich, Igor Konstantinovich, Prince Vladimir Pavlovich Paley and their faithful associates Feodor Remez and Keleinitsa Barbara (Yakovleva).

When Petr Ilyich Tchaikovsky was a child, the boy's family lived in Alapaevsk for some time. This period had a great influence on the composer, and his echoes can be heard in some of his works.
The museum exposition reveals two main themes: the life of the Tchaikovsky family in Alapaevsk and the collection of musical instruments of the world. Here you can see musical instruments used by the young composer.
The museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday, you can sign up for a tour on site.
