Start your acquaintance with the amazing nature of Sochi in the Khostinsky District, where the picturesque Eagle Rocks are spread out. They also have a second name - White Cliffs - because of the limestone, which gives them a light shade. The cliffs offer a mesmerizing view of the mountains and the sea.
You might have a question: why is the statue of Prometheus located here? It is with Eagle Rocks is connected with a beautiful and tragic legend about the titan who gave fire to humans and suffered a terrible punishment from the gods of Olympus, and Agura Oceanides, who decided to put him out of his misery. According to the legend, Zeus was angry with Agura and threw her off a cliff, she fell and turned into a powerful stream of pure water - so the Agura waterfall appeared.
If you drive an off-road vehicle, you will reach the rocks with ease. If your car is not prepared for off-roading, it is better to leave it near the river and walk around for a while, admiring the surrounding views. Or you can choose a longer hiking route through the gorge along the Agura waterfalls.

You've probably heard a lot about this place, and today you're going to visit it.
Mount Akhun is located between the rivers Agura and Hosta. On its top there are several interesting sights, one of which is a stone observation tower built by Stalin's decree. He was often in this area and even made a dacha here. Not far from the tower you can find an abandoned restaurant, which has also become a favorite tourist attraction because of its elegant appearance.
Unlike the restaurant, the tower continues to work and receive guests. You can go up to the top deck, check out the small museum and visit the tasting room, which is open right inside the building.

You can have lunch and at the same time learn the history of resettlement of Hamshen Armenians from Turkey to the Black Sea coast of Caucasus, as well as get acquainted with their material and spiritual culture in the Ethnographic Restaurant Complex Hamshenski Dvor.
On its territory there is an ethnographic museum with more than fifteen hundred exhibits, an archaeological exhibition, a chapel and a warriors' memorial.
But that's not all: there is a restaurant complex, the halls of which are decorated in the spirit of Caucasian national architecture. The menu offers delicious dishes of Armenian cuisine.

After a walk around the ethnographic complex, go see the breathtaking scenery of the Mzymta River valley, the surrounding mountains and cliffs.
