The Stasi was known for random arrests, brutality, false trials, and outrageous sentences. 4900 people were imprisoned in the Stasi-Knast prison’s tiny cells, for small or non-existent crimes before Reunification. Walking through the former prison will let you feel the atmosphere of creepy corridors, and desolate cells, and help you understand the horrors of the Stasi.

It's one of the most exciting parts of your road trip to Rostock and an incredible detour gem! Catch a nostalgic ride on a narrow-gauge steam locomotive from the 1880s!
You are the eastern terminal from where the train leaves on a 45-minute journey toward Kühlungsborn West. You'll get to enjoy beautiful views of the Baltic Sea and picturesque farmlands, hamlets, and woods.
Leave your car at the car park next to the train station, and enjoy this beautiful ride. You'll come back on the train back to get back on the road.

After coming back to the station, jump in the car, and head to the Deck Beach Club to have a nice dinner with a view! It's a cozy place with a pleasant atmosphere, where you'll get to relax after all the adventures., and before coming back to Bremen. Enjoy!

Lubeck's old town is very beautiful and surrounded by a water canal. It is UNESCO World Heritage and has numerous historical buildings and sites worth seeing. Have a short night stroll before coming back to Bremen.
