Howard Dolmen Chambered Grave is one of the most fascinating historical sites. The dolmen, which is a type of megalithic tomb, is located in the townland of Ballynahatty, just outside Belfast.
The site was excavated in 1955 and found to be the burial place of a Neolithic chieftain. The tomb is thought to date back to around 3000 BC.
As you are going down Castlewellen road look out for Coward Road which will lead you to the attraction.
