Goward Dolmen Chambered Grave
Howard Dolmen Chambered Grave is one of the most fascinating historical sites. The dolmen, which is a type of megalithic tomb, is located in the townland of Ballynahatty, just outside Belfast.
The site was excavated in 1955 and found to be the burial place of a Neolithic chieftain. The tomb is thought to date back to around 3000 BC.
