    Afterwards, you can take a walk to the island of Tarifa or Isla de las Palomas, the southernmost point of mainland Europe. This island is connected to the mainland by a road/breakwater.
    The island is currently closed, but it is possible to walk along the path that links it to the mainland. Along the way, you will see signs of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean to indicate that they are located on either side of the breakwater. There you can take fun photos and descry the coast of Morocco.

    Climbing the dunes is always tiring, but fun, especially with children.
    You can improvise a picnic with the products you bought at the supermarket.

    If you are a dune lover and want to visit another beach nearby, you can walk or drive to Punta Palona Beach. If you go by car, it is necessary to leave your car at the top of the dunes and walk down.
    Depending on how long you decide to stay on the beaches and the activities you do, you can watch the sunset from one of the dunes here. Keep in mind that in the summer months, the sun sets late, after 9:30pm.
    Another option is to return to the hotel, relax by the pool and in the gardens and have dinner in the hotel restaurant.
    If you prefer to have dinner on the beach before going to the hotel, you can choose another chiringuito in Valdevaqueros, for example BiBo Beach House, a modern and innovative place.
