Learn About Bears, Ghosts and Murder in Canterbury
Day one of your family adventure in east Kent begins with quiet time in nature before you dive into the turbulent local history. Your first stop is a peaceful pause in East Blean Woods, before more paws (and claws) at the Wildwood Trust.
You’ll then learn of war and murder with a visit to the Westgate Towers and Canterbury Cathedral. Hungry bellies will be satisfied with local produce from The Goods Shed and dinner in a (supposedly) haunted pub.

Enjoy a Seaside Sojourn in Dover
Day two is all about marrying a classic British seaside stay with the fascinating history of Dover. It starts with a crunchy walk along a shingle beach, all while admiring the White Cliffs, and ends with a top-notch fish and chip dinner overlooking the English Channel.
In between, you’ll learn about Dover’s role in World War II and visit Dover Castle for a wander along the battlements, before returning to Brighton.
