Even if you've never seen Games of Thrones, which featured this stunning scene "Dragonstone" in season seven, this place of majestic beauty will surely impress all.
This route gives the family a leisurely three hours to make the roundtrip walk out to the magnificent San Juan de Gaztelugache, a small islet connected by an incredible man-made bridge.
When you arrive at the 10th Century Hermitage, be sure to have the kids ring the bell with the long rope. Legend has it if you ring the bell three times your wish will come true!
It will be many stairs and a bit hilly coming back but the most impressive views will all be worth it!
Do Wear Comfortable Shoes Pack Water (you can buy drinks on the islet) Wear a Hat and Suncream
You MUST book tickets in advance in order to secure a morning slot of the correct time. In the summer months and on weekends these will book up very quickly so DO PLAN AHEAD.
You will not be able to enter without tickets. Although you can still enjoy the Mirador views and Restaurant.
