Mining museum, Tsarskiy hermitage, Diveevo

The only museum in our country is located in the underground mine of an active gypsum factory in Peshelan. Children under 14 years of age are not allowed into the mine! The museum is open every day from 8:00 to 17:00.

In the village of Priborzhnoye there is a former yard of the Seraphimo-Ponetaevsky monastery - the Vvedensky sketch. In another way it is called the Tsarist sketch. In 1864 Emperor Alexander II granted the monastery a royal dacha, in gratitude for the healing of his daughter Maria.
Only the baptistery with strong stone walls has been preserved from the hermitage, where the temple, several cells, graves of nuns, a consecrated well and a pine alley of 200 trees with the so-called "Virgin's trail" have been opened. At the end of the alley there is a tower of a forester, climbing on which you can admire a magnificent panorama.
Another attraction of the place are the Seraphim Stones - the Big and Little Bear lying in the woods.

The Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveyevsky Monastery dates back to the XVIII century. This place is considered "a holy monastery, equal to which there is no, has not been and will not be in the whole world". The main sanctuary of the monastery is the holy relics of St. Seraphim and other saints, to which are lined huge lines of pilgrims.

For dinner you can drop in at Cafe Veranda. It's the kind of place where everything is simple and homely. The average bill per person is only 350-400 roubles.
