You'll start where you parked your car and follow the signage to start to walk the trail. The easy trail climbs some 200 metres in altitude along waterfalls and rapids and leads you across a spectacular stone bridge, Collet's bru, named after the painter Fredrik Collet. Mesna cultural trail comes to an end on the northern side of the Mesna river, above Svarga (home of the clairvoyant Marcello Haugen).

    Maihaugen Museum is an amazing and beautiful museum. It is the largest cultural open-air museum in Norway. There are lots of medieval (farm)houses and also some walk-in houses of different eras. There are knowledgeable guides in various locations explaining the history of the museum. There's a lovely small lake and some animals during the summertime.
    The museum opens from 10am until 17:00pm every day and it's open all through the year. You need to book tickets online in advance, go to Maihaugen Museum to get more information.

    The Kistefos Museum is a contemporary art museum and sculpture park located in Jevnaker, Norway. This museum offers world-class architecture, art exhibitions, industrial history, and a monumental sculpture park in picturesque surroundings. The art park first opened to the public in 1996 with an exhibition of 25 sculptures. Now, the sculpture park expands by one or more sculptures each year. The museum hosts work from incredible sculptures by significant artists like Yayoi Kusama, Marc Quinn and Fernando Botero. The Twist, a triumph of architectural design is a gallery, a bridge, and a sculpture, all in one. There is so much incredible art and design to admire at this museum.
