An Exciting Excursion around Erfurt
Welcome to Erfurt, a city steeped in enchanting history, culture and landmarks. We start our adventure with the scenic drive to Erfurt, stopping along the way to Hanover for brunch. Krämerbrücke
No trip to Erfurt would be complete without seeing the enchanting Kramerbrucke, or Merchant’s Bridge. This bridge has barely changed in 500 years, with picturesque galleries and boutique shops running along the bridge, lining its sides. There are a great deal of cafes and restaurants here, the Mundlandung restaurant is especially recommended!

Now it’s time to shop in Anger. No, I don’t mean to visit a shopping mall in a rage! I mean to make the short journey through the lovely centre of town to the famous Angerplatz, a central square where there is a wealth of antique shops, fancy boutiques and high-end stores. This idyllic square has arts and crafts from the Middle Ages to the present date on display, and if you wanted to partake in seeing modern European fashion, you’ll be spoiled for choice in some of the department stores.
