There are several sights on the square at once: the red-brick Gothic building that used to house the Bank of Finland, now the Vyborg administration; the Round Tower, a former fortification built in the 16th century; and the central market building itself, badly damaged after the war, but successfully restored and having its original historic appearance today.

The Medieval Tavern is the most authentic, hospitable and original place in Vyborg. The menu features dishes cooked according to ancient recipes - chowder, sausages, knuckles and ale. The interior, oak benches, stained-glass windows, jugs, utensils, waiters' costumes - all this tells about the past, when burghers, merchants, travelers and villagers gathered for a meal.

After dinner, stroll a little more through the amazing Vyborg and reach the striking Old Town Hall, one of the city's landmarks. It was built in the 17th century, and in 1898 it was reconstructed in the Renaissance style. In front of the Town Hall there is a monument to the founder of Vyborg - Marshal Thorgils Knutsson.
