Güi Güi Beach Hiking Trail
Open Details
A two-and-a-half-hour hike through tranquil and unspoilt natural landscapes leading to the secluded Güi Güi beach.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the campsite's restaurant to fuel up for today's challenging trek. Order a sandwich to take away for lunch, as there are no places to refresh along the route except for a chiringuito (a small beach bar) that may not always be open.
Be sure to bring a couple of litres of water, sunscreen, and a hat to protect yourself from the sun. Setting out early will help you avoid the strongest sun. At a normal pace, it'll take you about two and a half hours each way.
The trekking route to Güi Güi beach is of intermediate difficulty, with zigzagging paths that alternate between ascents and descents. The route is well signposted in most places, so pay attention as you navigate.
Alternatively, you can drive to Playa de Tasartico or Playa de Tasarte and then take a taxi boat for both ways. Remember to book the taxi boat a couple of days in advance for a smooth journey.

Güi Güi Beach Hiking Trail
Open Details
After a few hours in this paradise, it's time to set off again. If it's winter, remember that the sun sets earlier. The way back follows the same route as the outward journey but in reverse, starting with an uphill section followed by a downhill stretch. This time, the climb is noticeable and sustained, but the zigzag path makes it manageable.
If you'd like, return to the campsite, kick off your shoes to let your feet breathe, and relax at the bar with a refreshing drink or some snacks. After this break, get behind the wheel to begin the journey to the picturesque fishing village in the municipality of Mogán on the southwest coast.
