The air in Portugal contains something magical, the people are always smiling, the mood is always high. Could it be its colors? Will it be the effect of the ocean? Will it be all the azulejos decorating the houses? Will it be the cream of the pastel de nata?
What makes this land so beautiful I exactly do not know but in these two days on the road I plan to take you to all the places I love, let you savor them, allow you to enjoy them and then leave you free to decide what causes all this wonder.
It will be a long trip but it will be full of relaxing breaks, culinary pampering and breathtaking scenery.
Being on the coast and being able to enjoy an ocean view sunset is priceless. For me even that alone would be enough to make this trip wonderful but because we are insatiable and always want more, I have planned so many visits, walks and places to explore.
I have also chosen different stations for you to recharge your car. I have included several so you can choose where it is most convenient for you to stop. To each car recharge break, I have correlated a traveler recharge break. Are you curious about how?

The Coast from Lisbon to Porto : Between Waves, Castles, Colors and Relaxation Breaks

This first day will be about being slow.... I will suggest many things, one more beautiful than the other but I would do them slowly, savoring every moment. As if you want to reconnect with nature, with time now past and time to come. You will stroll through the narrow streets of one of Portugal's most beautiful villages, breathe in the ocean air at the foot of a lighthouse and watch giant waves in Nazaré. Finally, you'll arrive in Porto to enjoy some nightlife on the riverfront.
