Horseshoe Bend Overlook Parking Lot
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at the hotel in the Rainbow Room, a casual restaurant with spectacular panoramic views of the lake. From there, you'll drive to Horseshoe Bend, one of the most beautiful sights in the Glen Canyon Recreation Area.
Pay a fee and park at the overlook parking lot. A paved walkway leads to a scenic, unobstructed view of the natural landmark, formed by the Colorado River twisting and turning around a Navajo sandstone cliff. Part of the overlook is fenced, but be careful when exploring less secure areas. By visiting early in the morning, you'll enjoy perfect sunlight for capturing eye-popping photographs.

Antelope Canyon Tours - by Carolene Ekis
Visiting Antelope Canyon requires the most advance planning of any stop on your four-day road trip. The serene and stunning slot canyon is on tribal land and can only be accessed via a tour affiliated with Navajo Native Americans.
Go with a noon excursion with Antelope Canyon Tours. The timing is perfect to see mid-day beams of light peek through the canyon walls. Just remember: reservations are recommended weeks, if not months in advance. You'll have better luck if you avoid holidays or busier days of the season.

BirdHouse
Have a quick and delicious lunch at BirdHouse, a local fast-food spot, where fried chicken is the specialty of the house. Choose between breast, wings, thighs and tenders with the option of spicy seasoning or honey butter.
Top sides include mashed potatoes, fries and mac 'n' cheese. If you prefer something lighter, try the broccoli salad or house-made pickles. Any side dish pairs well with the lineup of ice cold beer and donut hole desserts.

Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
You won't have time to tour the Glen Canyon Dam, but the next best thing is pulling over at the official scenic overlook to enjoy towering unobstructed views of the modern marvel that created Lake Powell. The parking lot is convenient and stress-free with a short hike to the overlook, adding up to a fun roadside stop to cap off your jam-packed four-day road trip.

Edge Of The World Brewery
Colorado City is a quiet, conservative Mormon town, which makes the Edge of the World Brewery a bit of a surprise. Open seven days a week, the taproom has a cozy clubhouse feel and is a great place to mingle with locals. Try a German-style Kolsch or a hazy IPA.

Cottonwood Park
Stop by here after the brewery (or in place of the brewery if you're not much of a beer drinker). Cottonwood Park is a large, comfortable outdoor space with deep waves of green grass and large, mature trees with mountain views. Take a moment to stretch your legs and enjoy nature. Kids will love the swings and "Big Slide" built into the hillside.

Yardley's Steakburgers
You won't want to waste any time driving back to Las Vegas, so grab dinner at Yardley's Steakburgers, a fast-food counter inside an Eagle's Landing travel plaza in Littlefield, Arizona. The burgers are made with grass-fed, grass-finished beef from local ranches, adding up to a clean, savory taste and texture. Add an order of sweet potato fries on the side and save room for a frozen custard with your choice of mixed toppings.
