Rolling Mediterranean Hills

Your first stop on this tour through the Garraf region is this winery in the far corner. Tours are offered at 10:00 in the morning, so there's no time to waste! You'll learn about the vineyard, its history with wine, and appreciate the gorgeous countryside views.
The best part is that you get to choose how you experience the winery – are you after a more technical visit that delves into the art of winemaking, or would you rather take a leisurely stroll through the grape vines with a tasting at the end? It's completely up to you.

After exploring the wonderful winery, it's time to dive into the Garraf Park. This area is a beautiful reserve, with a handful of towns scattered across the hills and rural farmhouses hidden in the valleys. Your first stop is in the small village of Olesa de Bonesvalls, where this fantastically preserved Medieval hospital sits. It forms part of a compound, connected. The small village is also worth a short stroll around the streets.

After your quick stop in Olesa de Bonesvalls, it's back in the car and a beautiful drive across to one of the larger towns in the region, Begues. Nestled in a valley surrounded by wooded hills, it's a very attractive place.
Make a stop at Restaurant El Niu for lunch, offering classic home-cooked Catalan meals.

Your next stop on this route is one of the most interesting attractions in the Garraf Nature Park: the Buddhist Monastery. Nestled among the quiet hills, it's a tranquil place that encourages you to slow down and take in the gorgeous Mediterranean landscapes.
Visitors are free to wander around, admiring the fascinating mix of Catalan Modernism and Tibetan architecture, the prayer flags fluttering in the wind, and the beautiful temple.

After your time at the monastery, jump back in the car and head west toward the small village of Olivella. Leave your car at this parking lot and take your time walking around.

Olivella is a charming place to stop for a short stroll around, culminating outside this quaint stone church.

Enjoy the drive down from the hills of Garraf into Sitges, one of the most glamorous towns on the coast. Parking here can be tricky, so instead of trying your luck by looking for space on the street, make your way straight to this parking lot not far from the old town and beach.

After you've found a parking space, enjoy a stroll through town toward the beach. Once you're here, there's plenty of time before dinner to wander along the shore toward the city's impressive church, sitting at the edge of the Mediterranean.

From San Sebastian Beach, it's a lovely stroll down the coast past some of the most beautiful scenery in Sitges. The church sits at the edge of the coast, with cobbled streets that lead underneath arches and along the sea wall, offering fabulous panoramas over the Mediterranean and the gentle curve of the bay. Once you emerge out the other side, another beach and promenade to enjoy.
There are plenty of beachfront bars for a nice drink before dinner, watching the sunset over the ocean.

For dinner in Sitges, it's hard to go past Restaurant La Incidència Del Factor Vi. This restaurant doubles as a bodega, offering a fabulous selection of Catalonian and international wines alongside a mouthwatering menu of local dishes served with a contemporary and high-end flair.
After a long day of exploring the Garraf Park, it's time to head back home. With the late evening sun melting into an inky evening over the Mediterranean, you'll have the perfect backdrop for your return.
