The Cathedral (Red) Mountain is considered the main observation platform of Serpukhov. There are still parts of the white stone fortress preserved here. Under Ivan the Terrible, wooden walls were replaced with stone ones. In 1934, the Serpukhov Kremlin was dismantled for the construction of the Moscow metro.
