    Twisting Turns through The Troll's Ladder

    Trollstigen (The Trolls Ladder)

    Though only 5 km long, Trollstigen or "The Troll's Ladder" is one of the most famous roads in the world. Only open in the summer months, it welcomes over 150,000 cars every year. There are eleven hairpin bends that wind down the Vall valley. When at the top of the pass, you can park your car and walk for 10 minutes to a viewing platform to see the road in its entirely as well as the Stigfossen waterfall. Trollstigen closes in the winter.
