The fourth left figure on the west façade of Westminster Abbey is Duchess Elisabeth Romanova, a relative of the last Russian Tsar who was brutally murdered by the Bolsheviks. She neighbours, incidentally, with Martin Luther King himself. As the figure of the Russian princess was on the walls of the abbey in London? The fact is that in the late 1990's the British decided to install there statues of all modern martyrs, among which is Elizaveta Fedorovna. And, of course, the close relationship between the British and Russian royal families was not the least of the factors.
