Elabuga (Devil's) fortified settlement on the bank of the Kama River, near the town of Elabuga. Originally it was a patrimonial shelter of one of the local tribes that lived in the area in the 2nd half of the I millennium AD. In the eastern part of the settlement are the remains of a square stone citadel (400 m²) with four towers, presumably built by the Prince of Volga Bulgaria in the X century.
