    You’ll find several smaller valleys within the Colchagua valley, one of which is the Apalta Valley. Because of the location and weather conditions, this particular valley is best known for its red wine production, specifically syrah and Carmenere. It’s also known for being closer to the mountains, so grab your shoes and try a guided hiking wine tour would be the perfect blend of adventure, nature, and wine.
    Starting the morning early, this hike offers 6km through a botanical trail filled with many plants, flora, and fauna. Consider about 4 hours for this hike. In the end, enjoy a variety of Montes wines to try.
    If hiking is not an option for you, Montes also offers different tours that are unique to explore. Since they are one of the larger producers of wine in the area, you’ll explore different rooms and learn their production process. They stay true to their original promises to continue using sustainable practices. One of their rooms has Gregorian music constantly playing, which affects the taste of wines which is a unique experience to see.

If you enjoy visiting museums from different places worldwide, this one won't disappoint. English audio guides are available, but most of the writing you will find next to pieces is in Spanish.
    You can purchase your tickets in advance, and once they are purchased, you have six months to use them. Once you scan your ticket, they are valid for 24 hours.
