One of the nearby Algarve towns, Portimão is located on the shores of a picturesque bay by the ocean. Explore its rich history and culture at the Portimão Museum. On Mondays the institution is closed, and on Tuesdays it opens a little later, at 14.30. The rest of the week, the doors of the museum are open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Since our journey takes place in close proximity to the ocean, we should fully enjoy its gifts - fish and seafood dishes. The restaurant "A Fábrica" has at its disposal a large number of seafood, fish and vegetable dishes prepared according to national recipes.

One of the most popular local attractions is Aqualand Water Park. There are many different slides and attractions to choose from, although the park itself is not very large. To avoid queues at the entrance, it is better to buy tickets online.
