    The first thing worth seeing are the ruins of Erebuni. The city was founded by King Argishti I of Urartu in 782 BC as a stronghold for the Urartians in the Ararat Valley. It is located on the Arin-Berd Hill (Aryan Hill, yes). Nearby is a museum, which you can also visit.
