Walking along an ancient farmerโs pathway. This walk is done along a path used by animals and by the ancient settlers of Gran Canaria to take their animals in search of the best grazing each season. Thanks to the improvements made by a wealthy landlord at the end of the XIX century, the islanders were able to overcome geographic impediments at the summits which took them southwards at a time when road transport was non-existent. With time the route was improved for walkers and pilgrims.

Remember to take sun cream, suitable footwear and food and liquid to enjoy a momentโs rest along the way.
