Walks in Tbilisi

We continue to explore Tbilisi and today we will start with the funicular railway. It has been in operation here since 1905! And after the reconstruction, the number of tourists who want to ride it has increased even more. The views are fantastic!

The TV tower is visible from anywhere in Tbilisi and is also used as a multifunctional tower. It is used for television broadcasting, for cellular communications, and it shows the time to the residents of the city with light effects.

And we'll have lunch here, try khinkali, salads, and lobio. Soon we'll probably become addicted to Georgian cuisine. On top of that, the view is magnificent. Weather permitting, we always try to grab a table on the veranda or outside. We should enjoy the mountain air while we can.

Let's go and visit the Tbilisi sulfur baths. Here in the Caucasus, there are many different healing springs. After yesterday's ascent to the mountains, spa treatments, baths, and pools wouldn't hurt.

After a leisurely rest in the baths we will visit the agricultural market. There are spices for every taste! Taste, smell, and rub in your hands! So that's the secret of fragrant Georgian cuisine! And there is a big variety of local sweets, too.

A visit to the baths gave us a good sweat! We stopped at the hotel for a while to rest.

We have dinner at this atmospheric cafe. The meat is tender, juicy, and the salads are wonderful. Here in general they like a combination of meat and vegetables. We had a very enjoyable dinner. We didn't notice how the time flew by.

After dinner we took a little walk and went back to the hotel.
