Ehrenmal Gevelsberg is a memorial site in the southern Ruhr area in Gevelsberg State Forest that commemorates the lives of the soldiers sadly lost in the Second World War. The memorial itself is a staggering 15 meters high and made from sandstone featuring plaques engraved with prayers and names of fallen soldiers that are situated in the middle of the complex.
