You will commence your route at a very interesting place called Hardanger Maritime Centre. This wonderful little place has a variety of activities and things you can learn such as you can see wooden boats of various sizes being restored, learn about rope making and even use small wooden rowing boats. They also have a small gift shop and a terrace where you can drink a hot chocolate or coffee.
