While in Austria, it is impossible to bypass the mountain Hohe Tauern (High Tauern), which extends over a distance of more than 100 kilometers.
First of all, the mountains are interesting because of their natural component - coniferous forests, alpine-like landforms, glaciers and tributaries of the Salzach River.
The highest mountain in the country, Grosglokkner, which reaches 3,798 meters deserves special attention. It was first conquered by Martin Reicher in 1800. It has two peaks, which are called Grossglockner and Kleinglockner. The mountain is also famous for the largest glacier in Austria - Paszterze.
Especially for a convenient and quick view of the scenery and panorama of this place, the Großglockner mountain road was created.

The Kunsthaus is a place that surprises and amazes just by looking at it.
The museum, which has been operating in Graz since 2003, is part of the program "European Capital of Culture".
Within the walls of the museum are exhibitions of art from the second half of the 20th century.
The construction of the building itself was based on innovative ideas and contains a reinforced concrete frame combined with modern technology.
For a creative person, the museum will be a real treasure trove, because exhibitions on design, architecture, film and photography are held here under one roof.
The museum also has a store where you can buy literature related to contemporary art.

The restaurant is a stone's throw from the center of Graz, the interior is stylish - there are shelves of wine everywhere, you can buy a bottle if you want, the prices are reasonable.
Tourists like the mushroom soup and turkey filet in lingonberry marinade, the lentil soup, and the Viennese schnitzel is better than in Vienna itself.

In 1625, Prince Hans Ulrich of Graz, Austria, built Eggenberg Castle and laid out a beautiful park that became a weighty counterweight to the unrest of the time.
The castle is known primarily for the fact that it has 365 windows, 31 rooms on each floor and 4 corner towers, which are closely associated with the seasons and the Gregorian calendar.
On the castle grounds there is a Baroque chapel, which attracts attention with its festive appearance.

The heart of the Austrian city of Graz can rightly be called the Hauptplatz.

Among them is the town hall, built in the style of classicism at the end of the 19th century, which for a long time remained the center of political life of the city.
The square also has the oldest pharmacy in the city, built in 1534, which you can visit.
The Lügghaus building and its Renaissance frescoes deserve special attention.
On the square is the fountain of Archduke John, who contributed greatly to the formation and development of the city, and the four figures of women that adorn the fountain refer us to the main rivers of the region.
