Just five kilometers from the town of Melk you will notice the beautiful Renaissance Castle Schallaburg.
In Schallaburg there are various exhibitions. At them you can see unique historical artifacts from many eras, right up to the ancient Egyptians and Mongol conquerors.
An important element is the display of material on the signing of the 1955 agreement on the independence of Austria and its development in the post-war years.
