Welcome in PUGLIA!
We will start in BARIVECCHIA , the old city: you will discover an open air museum. I will be your guide for the 3 days, in a full immersion in Apulian lifestyle. Carry an empty suitcase ... I'll sure you will take you home a little bit of Puglia!
This project has been realised by Gabriella Dolores Calvi, student of the ITS Course - Trani Campus "Digitalisation and digital creativity in tourism and cultural activities" (A.A. 2021-2022), within the Module "Digital storytelling workshop: narrative scripts for the cultural valorisation of the territory", coordinated by Elisa Bonacini.

Puglia Scent of Food and Sea
Leave your luggage and start with a walking tour in the southern part of BARI: you can find the beaches characterized by high rocky coasts alternating with small beaches found in the inlets. Among the most characteristic localities we point out Polignano a Mare, a wonderful town with houses perched on the rock overlooking the sea. Here the coast is high and rocky, much appreciated by those who love diving into a deep sea and are looking for uncrowded beaches, it is the ideal place for those who love to hike in the sea caves. The sea here is exceptional, Polignano has been awarded the Blue Flag. In Polignano there is also a small bay with pebbles, Torre Incina, ideal for entertaining children. Another place with a wonderful sea is Monopoli, here you can find both low and sandy beaches and rocky coasts.

Puglia, Land of Contrasts
From the sea to the countryside, from nature to history, from tradition to innovation: that of Puglia is truly a fertile land, which offers holidays rich in alternatives and contrasts, beautiful, rich and even tasty. Behind a story of battles and invasions, testified by castles, walls and towers. To be discovered not only among its most famous centers, but also in its many municipalities, sometimes apparently anonymous, however, full of places to see and discover. Puglia is the most beautiful region in the world": the recognition comes from National Geographic and Lonely Planet, which have awarded the heel of Italy as one of the most fascinating regions in the world. "Best value travel destinations in the world "is the title that was awarded: the news was released by the New York Post with the article" Italy's Magical Puglia Region". "Puglia", reads one of the reasons, "boasts the better than southern Italy: the rhythms of life, the traditions, the beauty of the places and the food and wine ".
