Continue Your Journey Further Into the Heart of the Fjords as You Lay Your Gaze Upon Nærøy Fjord

Now you will head straight for Nærøy Fjord, but before you dive in to the fjord be sure to check out Njardarheimr. This museum is full of old viking artifacts and culture. Here you can appreciate the rich history of Norway and its viking past as the guides inform you of ancient mythology and history.

As you head deeper into the fjord you will surely like to try some of the local food here and what better place than the Flåm Marina. Here you can enjoy an amazing view of the fjord while you order some of their delicious food and relax.

This is a very special place here in the midst of this road travel as you will be able to experience a trip like no other through the fjord. Flåmsbana offers a scenic train ride through the hills, which will allow you a unique view into this amazing landscape.

Continuing onward, you will pass Gamle Aurlandsvegen which is a beautiful mountain road that connects two fjords. Take some time to admire the view from here and become a part of the scenic nature around you.

This next spot is sure to be a treat. Stegastein offers arguably the best view of the fjord from the new platform. It is truly incredible to be part of this breathtaking experience as you ponder the magnificence this part of the world has for you to admire.

As you move forward on this adventure, this road will take you to Skarvåga a very appealing waterfall just a few meters from the road. This place is great to have that feeling of being away from it all, surrounded by nothing but natural beauty.
There is designated parking a long the main road, and you can reach the waterfall via a small marked trail which will lead you to Skarvåga which is about a 15-minute walk from your car.

As the day starts to wind down and the sun begins to set, be sure to head over to Dyranut Fjellstova for some outstanding mountain dishes. You will feel a very cozy and warm vibe here, as the owners will treat you like family and attend to your every need.

After an awesome day completed, it is time to head over to the Fossli Hotel for some rest. This hotel features a spectacular view of the fjord.
