At first glance, it's hard to believe this fabulous place is a beach. It is located at the end of a narrow bay behind the western side of the Cascais marina. The locals do not swim here, there are no umbrellas or sun loungers. But it is necessary to come here, because this place combines indescribable landscapes, architectural monuments, as well as cognitive component, because there are two museums here.

This museum, located on the beach of St. Martha, is close to the active lighthouse (Farol de Santa Marta) and is dedicated to the history and work of the Portuguese lighthouses. You can learn everything from the beginnings of lighthouse business to the present, and then go out and see the active St. Martha lighthouse.
