I suggest that our journey "back in time" begins with an unusual museum. Here you can get acquainted with the events that took place near Moscow in 1812. The Battle of Borodino is the key one in the Battle of Moscow. Pay attention to the operating mode: From April to October: from 10:00 to 18:00 (cash desk till 17:30) November to April: from 9:00 to 17:00 (till 16:00) The weekend is Monday and the last Wednesday of the month.
Before we start sightseeing, we'll have a little refreshment. Restaurants in Maloyaroslavets have some noble names. We chose "Dynasty" and did not regret, the dishes are modern, they are tasty.
Let's continue our fascinating journey "back to the past." What will Maloyaroslavets tell you about the events of 1812? It is a very interesting museum, where you can learn more about historically important events for our country. Here you can find samples of weapons and military ammunition and a large collection of paintings and drawings, dedicated to battle scenes. Operation mode: from 10-00 to 17-30 from May to October, the day off of the main and two-story buildings is Monday; from May to October, the day off of the Chapel of the Diorama is Monday and Tuesday; from November to April, the weekends of all buildings are Sunday and Monday; the last Friday of each month is a health day.
Maloyaroslavets is a pleasant city, attracting with its ancient architecture and historical monuments. After the museum, it's time to take a short walk and capture another monument, which is dedicated to the events of 1812.
Not far from the Victory Monument of 1812 there is a cozy square, and I suggest you visit it before dinner and carefully study other monuments that perpetuate the events of the war with Napoleon.
And after the walk we go to dinner in a cafe with a brave name "Hussar Ballad". Hussars drinking champagne, we did not meet there (maybe it is for the best), but fed us delicious!
